WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PROFESSIONAL AND ESSENTIAL PRODUCT LINES?

The main difference between the Professional and Essential product lines lies in the type of key.

The keys from the Professional line are made to measure with a unique key pattern that is unique for each customer or organization. These keys have a metal design with a thin key structure (only 0.4 mm), they are made of high-strength and antistatic material, that’s why removing of locks is impossible without key. The key is rubberized on one side for better grip and prevention of slipping from wet hands. The key has a plug-in head for better protection against unwanted mechanical influences and is equipped with an LED light for more convenient identification of ports in dark areas.

Unlike the Professional key, Essential keys are produced in two types (Basic for common port locks and Mini for small port locks) and key patterns are standardized depending on the color design. The body of the Essential keys is plastic, while the key head itself is made of metal and can be hidden in the plastic body of the key.

Another difference between the Professional and Essential product lines is the color versions. The Professional lock board is always red. The Essential lock series for common ports (USB, Ethernet, etc.) has 7 color versions (dark blue, black, brown, yellow, orange, purple and pink), the Essential lock series for small ports (USB-C, USB-B, Mini HDMI, Micro USB, RJ-11 port, SD port, etc.) has 3 color versions (green, gray and beige).
